"Last night we had a night off and Satsang [Jivamukti] Yoga of Charleston, South Carolina held a sold out benefit yoga event for the Power to the Peaceful Festival. There was incredible spirit in the place as people chanted, sang, and sweat in a room so packed there was only one inch between mats. Jeffery and Andrea who taught the class after I spoke and played music, had the place rocking with a lively selection of music and very energetic and dynamic flow of postures. If you live in the Charleston area make sure you go check out their school it’s beautiful!"- Michael Franti

"Jeffrey never wanted to wear a suit to work - and ever since he started practicing Jivamukti (a style of Hatha yoga) in 1995, he hasn't had to. Now as a yoga teacher and owner of Satsang Yoga, Jeffrey and his studio pride themselves on being "playfully serious" and "unapologetically spiritual," which he believes makes them different from other area yoga studios.
